About this presentation

EVERY INFORMATION WORKER IS MOBILE: HOW TO SUPPORT THEM WITH SHAREPOINT & OFFICE 365 In years past, mobility was an investment reserved for execs and remote sales teams. Today, almost every information worker is by definition mobile. No longer tied to their desks, they need access to information anywhere, any time, on any device. How far can you support mobile scenarios with out-of-box SharePoint & Office 365? How do you make an effective build or buy decision if you need more than that? This recording produced an awesome set of content. We'd planned it to be just 45 minutes but it got so interesting, and so comprehensive, that Todd, Ben & Dan each decided to keep going! You can register now watch the recording on demand. You can even watch in "segments"–each scenario is available for you to watch separately.

EVERY INFORMATION WORKER IS MOBILE: HOW TO SUPPORT THEM WITH SHAREPOINT & OFFICE 365

In years past, mobility was an investment reserved for execs and remote sales teams. Today, almost every information worker is by definition mobile. No longer tied to their desks, they need access to information anywhere, any time, on any device. How far can you support mobile scenarios with out-of-box SharePoint & Office 365? How do you make an effective build or buy decision if you need more than that?

In July 2015, Ben Henderson, Todd Baginski and Dan Holme spent 2 hours diving into four common "scenarios" that, together, addressed just about every requirement for mobile business, from everyday information workers, to field sales professionals, to field engineers, to professional services consultants. For each set of requirements, they looked at what could be done with out-of-box SharePoint & Office 365, and what required build (custom development) or buy (solutions from the broader SharePoint & Office 365 partner ecosystem) decisions. They wrapped up with an exhaustive list of requirements and a decision making matrix that enables you to quantify and evaluate your choices for each of your mobile scenarios.

This recording produced an awesome set of content. We'd planned it to be just 45 minutes but it got so interesting, and so comprehensive, that Todd, Ben & Dan each decided to keep going!
