On December 16, 2015, in a post to Office Blogs, Jeff Teper, corporate vice president for OneDrive and SharePoint at Microsoft, announced storage limit increases (to unlimited) for OneDrive for some plans, but not to all plans. Several of the standard Office 365 plans are still capped at 1 TB.
In the blog, Mr. Teper also announced that after a short preview period, Microsoft has started rolling out their improved OneDrive for Business sync client for Windows and Mac. You can read about the OneDrive for Business Next Generation Sync Client here.
Mobile clients (Windows 10 mobile and iOS) received updates to their OneDrive apps as well.
Developers will use the new OneDrive for Business API that allows developers to programmatically access OneDrive for Business files. You can read more details about the developer enhancements in OneDrive for Business.
