Using the paid app
We are currently developing a paid application for SharePoint 2013 and Office 365. This paid application comes with a forms designer and will automatically run any configuration needed for you. Stay tuned for a release date of this awesome application.
To create a form in SharePoint using StratusForms you need to take the following steps:
- Identify a list that you wish to create forms for. One of the awesome things about StratusForms is that you don’t need to create a list field for each field in your form. StratusForms allows you to create extensive forms and only promote the fields you need to your SharePoint List.
- Create a field in this list called “StratusFormsData”. This field MUST be a Multi-Line Text Plain Text field. It will not work as a rich text field!
- Add your form to a page (as easy as adding a Content Editor Web Part to a page and link it to your form).
That’s all there is to it! If you need some sample forms to quickly get started, download StratusForms today. Samples are in the zip file.
