Did you know that you can change the format of your Inbox in Outlook? There are three basic views that I find useful in terms of how I want to view my mail.

To find the Change View setting, click on the View tab in Outlook. The Change View icon is the first one in the Ribbon Bar:

Outlook Change View option

The three views I find useful are Sent To, Compact, and Single.

The Sent To view groups items by date, and shows you who the email was sent to along with the subject line. This information takes up two lines in your inbox:

The Compact view drops the grouping by date, and shows you who sent the email along with the subject line. This information takes up two lines in your Inbox:

The final one, Single, groups your email by date, shows you who the email is from, and also shows the subject. You can adjust the columns to give more or less space to specific columns, such as less space for Size and more space for Subject:

If you've never tried out these various formats before, give them a try to see which one works better for you. I personally like the Single view, as it shows the most information on a page.
