Microsoft MVP

Today is October 1, a very special day on which Microsoft honors new and renewed MVPs in the community. MVPs work so hard to provide the community valuable best practices, guidance, and insight into technical issues that the community is facing. I want to take this time to congratulate each and every one of these Most Valuable Professionals that have achieved this well-deserved accomplishment!

I’ve had the pleasure of working with MVPs in the SharePoint and Office 365 space for well over a decade as I worked in sales management and now as a co-founder of IT Unity. I couldn’t be more grateful as they have directly impacted my life professionally and personally throughout the years. Working with ISVs in the SharePoint and Office 365 space, it’s required for me to align MVPs and ISVs to create and deliver custom web seminars, content, and education that is compelling to drive the community together to solve business problems. MVPs definitely go above and beyond to exceed both my clients’ expectations and the community’s expectations. They sacrifice so much of their time traveling away from family and friends to speak at events while working countless hours to deliver content and education to the community.

Ask me how I know? I work first hand with a brilliant MVP! I work side by side with co-founder of IT Unity, Dan Holme, who is a 9-year MVP across three technologies. I’ve never met anyone so hardworking and dedicated to serving our community. Working with Dan has opened my eyes and doors to meeting many other AMAZING MVPs in the community. I think they are all simply GREAT people with insanely high intelligence, wit and a sense of humor that gives you belly laughs, kind hearts, respect, and high level of integrity. If you haven’t already done so, take some time to have a conversation with any MVP and you will be able to discover great people who care deeply about the community. They definitely are passionate and strive to do the best to enrich us with their knowledge.

Congratulations to all the renewed and new MVPs!!! I couldn’t think of a better group of people that are more deserving! Hats off, and I thank you for all that you do!
